Women's Tennis Earns ITA Academic Honors

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Boston College women's tennis team earned ITA All-Academic honors, announced Thursday by the association. In addition to this, four players earned ITA Scholar Athlete honors. The list included recent graduates Kelly Barry, Olga Khmylev, junior Sarah Dalton, and sophomore Heini Salonen.
To be eligible for consideration for ITA All-Academic honors, the team must have earned a 3.2 grade-point average. ITA Scholar Athletes must have individually earned a minimum 3.5 grade-point average for the current year.
The women's tennis team recently finished off a strong summer at the ITA Summer Circuit tour with wins by Khymlev and incoming freshman Emily Safron.
