BC To Host 2013-14 Field Hockey, Lacrosse Championships

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the conference championship sites for the 2013-14 academic year on Wednesday afternoon.
"This is an exciting time for the ACC and we look forward to the 2013-14 lineup of ACC Championships which for the first time will feature Notre Dame, Pitt and Syracuse," said ACC Commissioner John Swofford. "We have terrific programs that continue to compete at the highest level and we are looking forward to a bright future as a 15-member league."
Boston College was chosen to host the 2013 ACC Field Hockey Championship on November 7-10 at the Newton Campus Athletic Fields. BC hosted the 2007 ACC Championship, which was the first conference championship hosted by the Eagles since joining the ACC in 2005.
BC will also host the 2014 Women's Lacrosse Championship on April 24-27.
