Women's Tennis Debuts at No. 51 in ITA Rankings

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College has debuted at No. 51 in the ITA Division I Women's Rankings in the rankings released on Feb. 26, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced on Tuesday.
This week's rankings are the first rankings based off a computer point-per-match formula and allowed for 13 women's teams to enter the rankings for the first time this season.
The Eagles are coming off two wins over ranked opponents, defeating then-No. 71 Brown, 5-2, on Friday and then-No. 74 Harvard, 4-3, on Saturday. BC plays next at Cal State Fullerton on March 4 at 2 p.m.
Boston College joins nine other ACC schools in the ITA's top 75.
