Kristen Mewis Earns First Cap With National Team

Chestnut Hill, MA - Boston College women's soccer fans should be paying close attention to the US Women's National Team.
Right now former Eagles midfielder Kristen Mewis is with the full national team. Mewis picked up her first cap on Saturday Feb. 9 as the US team defeated Scotland, 4-1. BC's all-time leading scorer entered the game in the 75th minute for former Stanford star, Christine Press. Mewis played 15 minutes to earn her first career cap.
Mewis is on the roster for tonight's game against Scotland at LP Field in Nashville. The match can be viewed live at ussoccer.com. The game time is 7 p.m. (CT) or 8 p.m. (ET).
