Men's Tennis Sweeps Southern New Hampshire, 7-0

Boston College swept Division-II foe Southern New Hampshire, 7-0, in its season opener at the Flynn Recreation Complex in Chestnut Hill, Mass., on Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles (1-0, 0-0 ACC) won all three doubles matches and took each of the singles matches in straight sets against the Penmen out of the Northeast-10 Conference.
Sophomore Philip Nelson won on court No. 1 in both singles and doubles competition.
Senior co-captain Billy Grokenberger, junior co-captain Jonathan Raude, junior Michael McGinnis, and freshman Kyle Childree each won matches in both singles and doubles.
Sophomore Matt Wagner won in singles, and senior Klaus Puestow won a match in doubles.
Next, Boston College hosts Bryant on Friday, Feb. 1 at 5:30 p.m. in the Flynn Recreation Complex.
