Nicole Boudreau Named ACC Rookie of the Week

Chestnut Hill, MA - Freshman Nicole Boudreau has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Week after averaging 17 points, 5.5 rebounds and two assists in two games last week.
The BC rookie guard scored a team leading 18 points in a tough loss to No. 22/24 Florida State. Boudreau shot 6-for-10 from the floor and 4-for-5 from long range in the game. She also had six rebounds.
On Sunday in a double-overtime loss to Wake Forest, Boudreau finished with 17 points, five rebounds and two assists.
Boudreau, a native of Andover, Mass., shot 50 percent from the floor and three-point range in the two games. She is the Eagles third leading scorer (11.9 ppg.), third in rebounds (4.4) and second in steals (2.5 spg.). Boudreau also leads the ACC in three-pointers made (42) and in minutes played (35.6 mpg.).
Boston College (8-9, 2-3 ACC) will hit the road this week as they play at Virginia on Thursday, January 24 at 7 p.m. followed by a Sunday, Jan. 27 game at No. 3 Duke.
