BC Athletics Posts New Items For Auction

Chestnut Hill, MA - The Boston College athletics department is posting new items for the special auction this week to help the Crush Cancer Fund for Clare, a non-profit effort set up by the Graybeards of Rockaway, New York to help fund medical expenses for former Eagles guard Clare Droesch '05.
Droesch, who played at BC from 2001-05, was diagnosed in December, 2011 with cancer. She has started her treatments and the Boston College athletics department is hoping to help raise money for her medical expenses.
This week's auction items include a football signed by BC linebacker Luke Kuechly, an Authentic Buffalo Sabres game jersey donated and signed by Nathan Gerbe as well as an Ayla Brown/Scott Brown package which includes a signed CD and t-shirt from Ayla Brown and an authentic leather-bound copy of Scott Brown's book, Against All Odds, along with a signed t-shirt by the Massachusetts State Senator. Another key item of interest would be a Notre Dame Game-Day Experience package (4 tickets, 4 on field pre-game credentials, parking pass and tour of Yawkey).
