Men's Tennis Falls to Brown, 6-1

Providence, R.I. - The Boston College men's tennis team (3-4, 0-2 ACC) fell to No. 68 Brown University (9-3), 6-1, on Friday afternoon.
Senior Akash Muppidi secured a point for the Eagles, defeating Brown's Brandon Burke 6-3, 6-4, in No.1 singles position.
In doubles action, freshmen Philip Nelson and Matt Wagner put in a strong showing against Brown's William Spector and Sam Fife on court three. The two eventually fell, 8-7 (5), to the duo.
The Eagles return to the court Wednesday, Feb. 29 at 6p.m. in Longmeadow, Mass., to take on No. 17 North Carolina.
