Carpenter and Bolden Receive Weekly Honors

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Sophomore forward Alex Carpenter received Athletic Republic Co-Player of the Week honors alongside Northeastern forward Casey Pickett. Senior defenseman Blake Bolden received WHEA Defensive Player of the Week honors and the Eagles were named as WHEA Team of the Week as announced by the Hockey East on Monday.
Carpenter received her second career Player of the Week honors for her four goal and four assist performance over the span of two games against Boston University last week.
Bolden received her first Defensive Player of the Week honors for her two goal and five assist performance against the Terriers.
The Eagles went 1-0-1 in the two game set with Boston University last week and outscored the Terriers in those games, 12-6. After starting the season 0-2, the Eagles have gone 3-1-1 since to jump back up to fourth in the Hockey East.
BC will play host to the first place Providence College Friars (6-3-1, 4-0-0 WHEA) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Kelley Rink.
