Rowing Completes Competition at the 48th Head of the Charles

The Boston College rowing team completed competition at the 48th Head of the Charles Regatta with a 27th-place finish in the Women's Championship 8+ event on the Charles River in Boston, Mass. on Sunday afternoon.
The championship races on Sunday feature the most competitive events of the two-day regatta highlighting some of the best crews in the world.
The Eagles finished 27th out of 40 entries in the Women's Championship 8+ event with a time of 17:59.533. US Rowing won the event with a time of 16:13.487 - 1:46.04 ahead of BC. Last year in the same event, BC came in 28th with a time of 17:26.62.
Boston College and head coach Steve Fiske return to action with the Princeton Chase on Sunday, Oct. 28 on Lake Carnegie in Princeton, N.J.
