Prior to today's match against Miami, the women's soccer program will honor the six seniors - Alicia Blose, Maddie Payne, Alexa Gaul, Morgan Hiler, Victoria DiMartino and Krsiten Mewis. The senior class has compiled a 57-22-8 record, advanced to three consecutive NCAA Tournaments, earned a trip to the 2010 College Cup and the 2009 ACC Regular Season Championship.
Boston College is coming off a 3-2 victory over No. 1 ranked Florida State. The Eagles were led by goals from Kate McCarthy, Stephanie McCaffrey and Kristen Mewis. Senior Victoria DiMartino also tallied two assists in the win.
CORNER KICKS
• Senior Kristen Mewis has a new scoring streak alive, as she has scored a goal and or assists in the last four games. In the run, Mewis has tallied four goals and five assists. She now has 13 goals and 11 assists for a career-high 37 points.
• Boston College has a 5-2 edge in the series against the Hurricanes. Last season, Miami defeated the Eagles, 3-2, in Coral Gables.
• Stephanie McCaffrey has tallied four multiple-point games this season. She has notched a point in nine games and is second on the team in scoring with career-highs in all categories - nine goals, six assists and 24 points.
