The Eagles have earned six shutouts. BC has won the last three games by a combined score of 11-0 (5-0 vs. Vermont, 4-0 vs. Colgate, 2-0 vs. Dartmouth).

BC vs. Virginia
A match between BC and Virginia is always competitive. Though BC has won six of the eight matches since joining the ACC, the games are always decided by one goal. The one game that broke all conventional thinking between the two teams happened on October 3, 2010, when Virginia defeated BC, 3-2 in overtime. The Eagles bounced back from that tough loss with a 1-0 win over the Cavaliers at the ACC Tournament on Nov. 3.
Home Sweet Home
The Eagles are unbeaten at home in the last 11 games, dating back to the 2010 season. In the last four years, BC is 29-0-4 in non-conference games at home. Since joining the ACC the Eagles are 20-7-3 vs. conference teams at home. The Eagles are 54-9-9 overall at home since the 2005 season.
ALS Fundraiser
Boston College will host the first ACC match of the season against Virginia on Sunday, September 18 at 1 p.m. Throughout the match the Boston College women's soccer team will accept donations for the fight against Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or Lou Gehrig's disease. The women's soccer team fundraising event is to honor the life of William Bouchelle, the father of senior midfielder Julia Bouchelle, who lost his battle to the disease three years ago.
