Stefanie Murphy Makes WNBA Debut

Chestnut Hill, MA - Boston College senior Stefanie Murphy made her professional debut tonight with the Connecticut Sun in an exhibition game against China.
Murphy checked in for Sun center Tina Charles with about three minutes to play in the second quarter. Murphy played the final three minutes of the half and hit a jumper on the baseline. She was set up on the jumper by teammate Kara Lawson.
Murphy played the last 10 minutes of the second half. She missed a three pointer, scored her second bucket with a minute to play and grabbed aboard and had two fouls. She played a little over 13 minutes in the game.
The Sun won the exhibition, 101-63.
Murphy will be back on campus on Monday to walk for graduation.
