Men's Tennis Downed By Georgia Tech

Weymouth, Mass. - The Boston College men's tennis team was defeated by ITA ranked No. 19 Georgia Tech, 7-0, on Friday, April 1.
BC fell in two close matches in doubles play. Junior Alex Skinner and freshman Michael McGinnis were topped, 8-6, on No. 2 doubles by Eliot Potvin and Ryan Smith, while seniors Adam Davison and Erik Kreutzer were downed by Guillermo Gomez and Dean O'Brien by the same scored on the third court.
Junior Akash Muppidi and sophomore Billy Grokenberger fell to the 14th ranked pairing of Juan Spir and Kevin King, 8-4.
In singles play, Tech took all six singles matches in straight sets to earn the win.
The Eagles move to 4-11, 0-6 ACC on the year and the Yellow Jackets improve to 14-2, 4-1 ACC.
The Eagles will return to action against Clemson on Sunday at noon at the Weymouth Club.
