Tennis Dropped By No. 34 Wake Forest

Weymouth, Mass. - Junior Akash Muppidi upset ITA ranked No. 85 Jonathan Wolff, 7-5, 6-2, to give the Boston College men's tennis team its only point in a 6-1 loss to No. 34 Wake Forest on Friday, April 15 at the Weymouth Club.
Seniors Adam Davison and Erik Kreutzer claimed their third consecutive win on No. 3 doubles, topping Wolff and Zach Leslie, 9-7, but the Eagles (7-16, 0-10 ACC) fell in to close matches on courts one and two to surrender the doubles point to the Demon Deacons (11-10, 4-6 ACC).
After Muppidi evened the match, 1-1, Wake Forest topped BC in straight sets on the remaining singles courts to seal the win.
The Eagles conclude the regular season on Sunday, April 17 with an 11 a.m. meeting with NC State and a 4 p.m. matchup with Boston University.
