Medway, Mass. – The Boston College women’s track and field team sent four contests to the Northeastern Solomon Invitational on Saturday.
Junior high jumper Georgette Asfoura matched her season-best of 1.57 meters (5-1.75 ft.) to take second place.
Freshman Alanna Poretta took third in the 1500-meter field of 47, crossing in 4:44.02.
First-year Margaret O’Dea ran a 12.89 clip to take sixth in the 100-meter dash.
Sophomore Margaret Stapleton-Smith turned in a mark of 35.59 meters (116-9.0 ft.) to place 11th in the hammer throw.
