The No. 17/19 Boston College women's lacrosse team looks to end a three-game losing streak and to secure their first conference win, tomorrow against No. 7/8 Virginia. The Eagles currently sit in fifth place in the ACC with an 0-3 record, and 7-4 overall. Virginia is also 0-3 in ACC play and 6-4 overall.
The Eagles fell to the Cavaliers last season, 12-6 in Charlottesville.
Virginia is coming off a win against Old Dominion on Wednesday, while the Eagles fell to Albany 11-10. Junior Brittany Wilton scored four goals, while sophomore Brook Blue and senior Hannah Alley each chipped in with two goals in the loss.
The Eagles' senior Kristin Igoe ranks second in ACC play in goals per game through three games, with an average of 3.33 and third in points per game with 4.33.
Boston College continues to receive strong performances from Wilton (24 goals, 65 draw controls), Igoe (30 goals) and freshman Moira Barry (25 goals). Wilton's 65 draw controls, places her second on BC' single season rankings.
Boston College will host Duke next Saturday, April 9, at 1:00 p.m. in their final ACC matchup.
