Dartmouth Tops Men's Tennis, 6-1

The Boston College men's tennis team fell to Dartmouth, 6-1, on Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Boss Tennis Center in Hanover, N.H.
The Eagles' (1-2) lone point came from a win by junior Alex Skinner on No. 2 singles. The Haverhill, Mass. native was able to defeat Xander Centenari in a third-set tiebreaker, 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (8).
The Big Green (2-1) also took a pair of close matches on No. 5 singles, edging freshman Jonathan Raude, 6-2, 7-6 (0), and on the doubles third court, escaping from seniors Erik Kreutzer and Adam Davison, 9-8 (5).
Boston College will resume action on Saturday, Feb. 12 with a double header against Sacred Heart and Bryant University. The matches are scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. and will take place at the Flynn Recreation Complex in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
