Men's Tennis Shut Out at Virginia Tech

The Boston College men's tennis was defeated by Campbell/ITA No. 30 Virginia Tech, 7-0, on Saturday afternoon at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center in Blacksburg, Va.
The Eagles (4-7, 0-3 ACC) fell in all three doubles matches to the Hokies (8-4, 2-1 ACC), surrendering the doubles point.
Junior Akash Muppidi lasted three sets against the nation's 39th ranked Luka Somen, as did junior Jonathan Schroeder versus Francesc Aulina Fajula, but country's 30th-ranked team went on to take all six singles matches.
Boston College will return to action March 2 against Brown at 5 p.m., before heading to the Pacific Coast Doubles Tournament in La Jolla, Calif. from March 4-6.
