Women's Swimming and Diving Finishes 11th at ACC Championships

ATLANTA, Ga. - The Boston College women's swimming and diving team finished 11th at the ACC Championships in Atlanta, Ga. from February 16-19. The Eagles scored 60 points in the four-day competition.
MacKenzie Campbell, Mary Fothergill, and Shannon Landers shared Outstanding Performer honors. Campbell competed in seven events, tackling the 200 Yard Medley Relay (1:47.25), the 50 Yard Freestyle (24.27), the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, the 100 Yard Butterfly (57.64), the 400 Yard Medley Relay (3:54.09), the 100 Yard Freestyle (52.61), and the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay (3:32.10).
Landers participated in six events, including the 200 Yard Medley Relay (1:47.25), the 50 Yard Freestyle (24.43), the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, the 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:06.88), the 400 Yard Medley Relay (3:54.09), and the 200 Yard Breaststroke (2:25.40).
Fothergill placed in three events, which were the 100 Yard Butterfly (58.48), the 100 Yard Backstroke (58.39), and the 200 Yard Butterfly (2:08.82).
Alyssa Niebrugge took home Outstanding Performance for her time of 2:06.93 in the 200 Yard Backstroke.
