Women's Soccer To Welcome Three New Players in 2011

Chestnut Hill, MA - Boston College women's soccer head coach Alison Foley announced the addition of three players for the 2011 season. The program has received commitments from the Emily Hoffend from Dallas, Texas; Stephanie McCaffrey from Winchester, MA and Casey Morrison from York, PA.
The new student-athletes ready to join the BC roster are:
Emily Hoffend - Dallas Texans - Frisco, TX - Forward
Hoffend played club soccer for the Dallas Texans from 2007-11. She was a member of the 20008 US Youth Soccer National Champions and the 2009 and 2010 State Cup Championship team. Hoffend was a 2010 All-State and All-District first team selection in Texas. She was also a member of the 2008 and 2009 State Championship teams at Ursuline Academy.
Stephanie McCaffrey - Stars of Massachusetts - Winchester, MA - Forward
McCaffrey was named to the 2010 NSCAA High School All-American team, a 2010 NSCAA Youth All-American honoree and most recently an ESPN RISE first team All-American. A forward, McCaffrey is also in the Under-17 National Team Player Pool. She plays for the Stars of Massachusetts Club team. At Buckingham, Browne & Nichols, McCaffrey helped her team earn the Independent School League title scoring a league-high 37 goals. She was the ISL Player of the Year and also earned All-State and All-New England honors. A member of the Stars of Massachusetts Club Team, McCaffrey was a member of the 2007 and 2010 State Cup Champions.
Casey Morrison - Penn Fusion - York, PA - Defender
Morrison was named to the 2010 NSCAA Youth All-American team and competed at the 2010 ODP Thanksgiving Inter-regional. She is a member of the Under-17 National Team Player Pool and a five-year Pennsylvania Region 1 ODP player. Morrison is ranked by Top Drawer Soccer at No. 61 in the top 100 Players to Watch List for 2011 and the No. 1 recruit from Pennsylvania. She plays for the Penn Fusion Club team. In club soccer she has won six state cups, four in Maryland and two with Penn Fusion. A four-year starter at Central York-Adam High School, Morrison was a three-time All-County selection and a two time All-State honoree.
