Carpenter's Quest: Day 6 - Game Day vs. Russia

Finally it’s game day! We started off the morning with a quick half hour pre-game skate where we got our legs moving and did some fun drills. Other than that we pretty much have just been eating and sleeping, not a bad schedule if you ask me. Later on this afternoon, before we walk to the rink, we have a chalk talk session just to touch up a few things before we get started.
In preparing for the game, most of the girls straighten their hair; I will not be doing that as my voltage converter almost blew up my straightener and left a horrible smell in my room. I guess I bought the wrong voltage converter!
Well now it’s time for yet another nap! The game begins at 5 p.m. CET (11 a.m. EST). There will not be live streaming of the games but a blog will be updated throughout the game, follow this link to get the updates.
