W. Tennis Selected to Play in ECAC Indoor Championships

The Boston College women’s tennis team was one of eight teams to earn a spot at the 2012 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Women’s Indoor Tennis Championship, the league announced. The single-elimination tournament will start on February 17 and be hosted by Yale University.
The other teams the Eagles will competing against include host and three-time defending champion Yale, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Princeton, Fairleigh Dickinson and Brown. The top-three teams from last year’s tournament return as Princeton finished second and Brown was third. The Eagles defeated Dartmouth in last season’s meeting, 5-2, in Hanover, N.H.
Seeding will be announced on February 6.
