Chestnut Hill, MA - Joy Caracciolo joins the Boston College women's basketball team for the 2011-12 season. The 5-foot-11 freshman is from Bristow, Virginia.
Caracciolo averaged 21 points, 12 rebounds, three steals and four blocks a game as a senior at Stonewall Jackson High School. She was named to Virginia's All-State, All-District, and All-Region first teams.
