Men's Cross Country Takes Sixth at Williams College Inivitaional

Complete Williams College Invitational Results 
The Boston College men's cross country team took sixth place in the 18 team field at the Williams College Invitational on Saturday. Senior Micheal Keebler led the way for the Eagles, coming in at 26:45 over the eight kilometer course in Williamstown, Mass.
The meet was won by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Keene State College with 90 team points each. Tufts and Fordham tied for third at 106 points and Middlebury (137) came in fifth in the team draw.
Keebler's 11th place finish was the highest for the Eagles so far this season. Classmate Ian Thomas was the second BC runner to finish, crossing the line in 27:08 for 25th overall position, while sophomore Daniel Kane (27:10) followed at 26th. Freshman Anthony Bellitti (27:40) scored as an Eagle for the second time in as many attempts and senior Brian Hughes (27:41) also got on the scoreboard for Boston College.
Sophomore Michael Masse and freshman Michael Mahoney established new personal records in Williamstown. Masse finished in 27:52, besting his previous record by over 30 seconds, and Mahoney turned in a 29:29 in his first competition spanning eight kilometers.
The Eagles will be off until the New England Championship Meet on October 9, in Boston, Mass.
