Women's Tennis Announces 2010-11 Schedule

2010-11 BC Women's Tennis Schedule
The Boston College women's tennis team released the 2010-2011 schedule on Thursday, Sept. 16. The Eagles will play 22 dual matches, including eight matches against teams that made the NCAA Tournament last season.
The Eagles open up the fall season at the Brown Invitational from Sept. 24-26. The remainder of the autumn session includes trips to the USTA Invitational in N.Y. and the ITA Regional at Dartmouth in October, before concluding with the Harvard Invitational in early November.
The spring season features a multitude of New England based universities. BC will kick-off the 2011 season against Yale on January 22, while the home opener comes on January 30 versus UMass. Harvard, Brown and Rhode Island are also slated for competition.
The Eagles first match against an ACC opponent will be against Maryland on February 4. The 2010 national semi-finalist North Carolina comes to town on March 25. The schedule also features a visit from cross-town rival Boston University on Tuesday, April 12.
