CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Summer may be the off-season for the Eagles, but there was still plenty of field hockey action taking place before the team reports to campus next week.
At this year's National Field Hockey Championship Banquet, head coach Ainslee Lamb was awarded the USA Field Hockey Developmental Coach of the Year Award. She was recognized by the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) for her outstanding achievement as an NGB coach at the junior level.
Also over the summer, associate head coach Chris Clements received his Level III Accreditation for coaching, with USAFH recommendation to FIH courses. This recommendation allows Clements to attend an international coaches course representing US Field Hockey at a future premier tournament. Level III is the highest level of USA Field Hockey accreditation, and the FIH coaching courses represent the top coaching accreditation worldwide.
Lamb and Clements Awarded for Achievements.
