Women's Soccer Cruised Past UConn, 4-0

Chestnut Hill, MA - The No. 7 Boston College women's soccer team defeated the University of Connecticut, 4-0, on Saturday night in an exhibition game at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium.

Goals from sophomore Maddie Payne, sophomore Kristie Mewis, senior Brooke Knowlton and newcomer Mary Wagner helped the Eagles in the first test of the season.

Boston College will open the regular season on Friday, August 20 as the Eagles will host No. 2 Stanford at 7 p.m. Gates will open and hour before the game and admission is free!
