Sarah Dacey Joins Women's Soccer Staff

Chestnut Hill, MA - Boston College Women's Soccer Coach Alison Kulik has announced the addition of Sarah Dacey as an assistant coach to the Eagles staff. Dacey will join Kulik, assistant coach Neel Bhattacharjee and volunteer coach Mike LaVigne on the women's soccer staff for the 2010 season.
Dacey arrives at the Heights after serving as the head coach at Babson College for the past five seasons. Her record of 50-30-17 established the program as one of the top 10 Division 3 programs in New England. She also served as an assistant lacrosse coach at Babson.
A Framingham native, Dacey has been an assistant coach at the University of Tennessee, Providence College and BC in 1998. She was also the head soccer coach at The Fay School in Southborough.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina, Dacey was a member of three National Championship soccer teams and earned All-American honors as a senior. She also played lacrosse at UNC and earned All-American honors as a junior and senior.
Dacey, who is the Director of Development for the FC Boston Bolts, played professional soccer in the WUSA with the Carolina Courage and the Boston Breakers.
