Women's Soccer Adds Two More Recruits

Chestnut Hill, MA - Boston College head women's soccer coach Alison Kulik announced today the addition of Zoe Lombard and Jackie Vaccari to the 2010 recruiting class. Lombard and Vaccari will enroll at BC in September of 2010, joining previously committed Eagle recruits Rachel Davitt, Kate McCarthy, Jessica Mickelson, Mary Gibson Wagner and Patrice Vettori.
Zoe Lombard - Largo, Florida - Palm Harbor U. High School - 5-foot-10 - Defense
All-County first team, All-Region, All-state team and team captain as a senior ... Played one season at Clearwater Central Catholic and the last three seasons at Palm Harbor University High School ... Won the state championship as a junior and senior ... Earned the Courage and Commitment Award as a junior ... Ran track and field and posted the fastest 100 in the country and district in 2010 ... Advanced to the state competition in the 4x400 ... Advanced to regional in the long jump, 100 and 4x100 as a freshman, sophomore and senior.
Jackie Vaccari - Winsted, CT - The Gilbert School - 5-foot-7 - Defense
A four-year starter at The Gilbert School in Winsted, CT ... Amassed 79 goals and 66 assists in four seasons ... Named an ESPN Rise honorable mention candidate ... Played for CFC United and won four straight state cups ... Also a member of the swim team ... Earned the Scholastic Athlete Award from 2006-2008 ... A National Honor Society student.
