Men's Tennis Drops Two ACC Matches Over Weekend

The Boston College men's tennis team lost a pair of tough ACC matches on the weekend to No. 43 Clemson, 5-2, on Friday afternoon and to No. 25 Georgia Tech, 5-2, on Saturday afternoon.
The losses drop Boston College to 8-12 for the season, and 0-8 in ACC play.
Thomas Nolan and Brian Locklear both picked up three-set singles wins in the Clemson match. Nolan posted his win at the number one singles position defeating Derek DiFazio 6-7, 6-1, 10-6. Lockleat recorded his singles victory at the number six singles spot taking down Moritz Dettinger 6-4, 3-6, 10-6.
In the Georgia Tech match the Eagles once again got two impressive wins in singles play by Akash Muppidi and Erik Kreutzer. Muppidi won in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 over Eliot Potvin at the number two singles position, while Kreutzer was also victorious in straight sets 6-4, 7-6 (4) over Dusan Miljevic at the number three singles spot.
Boston College will have a week off before hosting Miami on Sunday, April 11 at 12 p.m.
