Women's Tennis Loses In First Round Of ACC Tournament

CARY, N.C. - The Boston College women's tennis team had its season come to an end on Thursday afternoon losing to No. 26 Virginia 4-0 in the first round of the ACC Women's Tennis Championships.
Boston College will finish the 2010 season with an overall record of 6-16, while Virginia moves to 14-8, and will play Clemson in the second round.
The Cavaliers took the number one and two doubles matches to win the doubles point.
In singles action, Virginia won at the number one, five and six spots to seal the win.
With the season now over Boston College will now look towards next year. They will have five starters returning, and with the addition of three highly talented recruits the future looks bright for the Eagles.
