Field Hockey Dominating In Spring Play

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College field hockey team has picked up right where it left off last fall. The Eagles coming off one of one of its best seasons in program history has taken that momentum into its spring tournament schedule.
So far this spring BC has played in two tournaments and its record is an impressive 7-0-2.
The first tournament was played at Quinnipiac University on April 10. Boston College went 2-0-2 in the tournament. They beat Monmouth 3-1, and defeated Colgate 4-0. The Eagles tied host Quinnipiac 2-2, and tied Yale 1-1 as well.
The second tournament was played on the Newton Campus at Boston College on April 17. The Eagles went undefeated in this tournament going 5-0-0. BC defeated Holy Cross 2-1, UMass 4-0, Providence 1-0, UMass again 6-0 and finally Holy Cross for the second time in the tournament 4-0.
Boston College is back in action this weekend as it will host a tournament on April 24 with Quinnipiac, New Hampshire, Maine, Boston University and Harvard all participating.
