Lacrosse's Costello and Igoe Earn All-ACC Honors

Senior Lauren Costello and junior Kristin Igoe were named to the 2010 All-ACC team as announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference on Wednesday afternoon.
It is the second time that Igoe has earned the honors and the first time for Costello.
Costello had a standout year in the ACC, as she led the conference in assists per game (2.38), points per game (5.08) and game-winning goals (5). She is also second in the league in goals per game. Igoe also made a name for herself in the conference, as she is currently fourth in goals per game (2.54) and eighth in points per game (3.31).
Costello leads the Eagles in scoring with 40 goals, 34 assists and 74 points on the season, with each of the totals tops for the team.
Igoe is currently second on the team with 35 goals, 11 assists and 46 points. She also leads the team in shots on goal, free-position goals and ground balls.
The Eagles are in College Park, Md. for the 2010 ACC Championships as the fifth seed in the tournament. They will match-up with fourth seeded Duke tomorrow, Thursday, April 22.at 2:30 p.m.
