Men's Tennis Splits A Pair Of Matches Over Weekend

The Boston College men's tennis team split a pair of matches on Sunday afternoon losing to No. 50 Miami 6-1 in the early match, but defeated Holy Cross in the later match 7-0.
The day's results now put Boston College at 9-13 on the year, and 0-9 in ACC play.
In the early match the lone point was picked up by sophomore Akash Muppidi at the number one singles spot defeating Christian Blocker 6-4, 6-2.
Muppidi and partner Erik Kreutzer also recorded a win at the number two doubles position by a score of 8-3.
In the later match of the day the Eagles swept all the matches against Holy Cross.
Brendon Wong took home a win at number one singles with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Matt Wierzel.
Boston College will be back in action on Tuesday, April 13 as it will host Bryant University for senior day. The match starts at 3 p.m.
