Field Hockey Places Five On National Academic Squad

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Five members of the Boston College field hockey team have been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I National Academic Squad according to a press release by the organization earlier today.
In order to be named to the squad, the athletes must obtain a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher for the first semester of the 2008-2009 academic year.
Seniors Chelsey Feole, Kristine Stigas, Jenny Raftery and juniors Janna Anctil and Alexandra Ratering Arntz were all named to the National Academic Squad
All six ACC teams placed at least four athletes on the National Academic Squad.
