CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College men's tennis team picked up a 4-3 non-conference win over Brandeis on Wednesday night at the Flynn Recreation Complex.
The victory improves Boston College to 7-7 on the season, while the loss drops Brandeis to 5-4 for the year.
BC took the doubles point by winning matches at the number one and three positions. The win by the 47th nationally ranked doubles team of Thomas Nolan and Erik Kreutzer was their sixth straight.
In singles action, the Eagles had no problems taking all six of the singles matches in straight sets including a 6-1, 6-1 win for No. 119 Akash Muppidi in the number two spot.
Boston College will be back on the court on Saturday, March 20 as it will travel to Providence, R.I. to take on Brown. The match starts at 11 a.m.
