Men's Tennis Falls To No. 63 Harvard, 5-2

The Boston College men's tennis team dropped a tough non-conference matchup to cross-town rival Harvard 5-2, on Friday night at the Baren Tennis Center in Cambridge, Mass.
The loss drops the Eagles to 4-6 on the year, while the win improves Harvard to 5-4 for the season.
The Eagles dropped two of their three doubles matches to lose the doubles point. The No. 21 team of Thomas Nolan and Erik Kreutzer provided the only win for BC in doubles play winning their match at the number one doubles position 8-3.
In singles play, the Crimson took four of the six singles matches to wrap up the win over BC.
The two singles wins for Boston College came at the number two and three spots. No. 76 Akash Muppidi continues his strong singles play defeating Alistair Felton 6-4, 6-4. Kreutzer picked up his second win of the day in the number three position winning a marathon match over Aba Omodele-Lucien 0-6, 6-1, 6-4.
The Eagles will now travel down south to play three matches starting with a matchup against UNC-Wilmington on Tuesday, March 2 at 1 p.m.
