Women's Fencing Wins New England Intercollegiate Fencing Championships

Boston College Women's Fencing won the New England Intercollegiate Fencing Championships at Mount Holyoke College on Sunday, accumulating 103 individual bout victories over 15 rounds of competition, fueled by a foil squad which won 39 of its 41 bouts. Jennifer Colacino took Gold in individual foil, the second year in a row that a BC fencer has won that event. The foil squad won the Women's Vitale Cup, awarded to the weapon squad with the most victories in the team round.
