
Janna Anctil Named ACC Player of the Week

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Senior Janna Anctil scored five goals in two games, including a hat trick and game winner, to nab the ACC's Player of the Week award, as announced by the league on Tuesday, November 2.
With one minute left in her final regular season collegiate game on Friday, October 29, Anctil scored the game winning goal against ACC opponent Wake Forest to win 3-2. It was the Eagles' first win against the Demon Deacons since 1997.
On Wednesday, October 27 Anctil scored her second hat trick of the season at Harvard to lift BC to a 5-0 win.
The Wolfeboro, N.H. native is currently sixth in Career Points on BC's all-time record book with 90 heading into the postseason. Anctil currently leads her teammates in points (30) and goals (13).
The fourth-seeded Eagles will travel to Winston-Salem, N.C. for the ACC Championships from November 4-7 and will face Wake Forest at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 4.
