Women's Basketball To Host Hartford On Monday Night

Chestnut Hill, MA - The Boston College women's basketball team will host the University of Hartford in the home opener on Monday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
The Eagles are coming off an 84-65 victory over cross-town rival Boston University on Friday night in the season opener. Senior Carolyn Swords notched her 31st career double-double with 14 points and 18 rebounds while sophomore Kerri Shields shot 7-for-8 from beyond the arc and finished with a career-high 21 points.
Hartford, which was ranked second in the America East behind BU, is coming to 46-41 in its season opener.
Mary Silvia and Daphne Elliott led the Hawks with seven points apiece.
