Men's Swimming And Diving Tops Tufts, 190-165

The Boston College men's swimming and diving team grabbed an impressive win over Tufts University this weekend, defeating the Jumbo's 190-165 in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
The Eagles looked to rebound against Tufts after the tough loss to Massachusetts only days before. Junior John Maloy led the hometown team, picking up three first-place finishes on the afternoon. Maloy won the 200 Yard Freestyle, the 500 Yard Freestyle and the 200 Yard Individual Medley.
Freshman Michael Panzarino and sophomore Zachary Bowen had an excellent showing on the day as well as each earned three, top three spots as well. Panzarino grabbed a second-place finish in the 1000 Yard Freestyle, the 500 Yard Freestyle and a first-place finish in the 200 Yard Butterfly while Bowen took third place in the 200 Yard Butterfly and the 200 Yard Breaststroke as well as second place in the 100 Yard Butterfly.
Andrew Clancey, Dominick Boccio, Brett Bromann, James Boretti and Marty Long all tallied two top-three finishes in their respective races as well.
Boston College will return to the pool on Tuesday evening where they will meet Brandeis at 6:30 p.m.
