Three More Recruits Joins Women's Soccer

Chestnut Hill, MA - Boston College head women's soccer coach Alison Kulik announced today the addition of Alicia Blose, Morgan Hiler and Jessica Petznick to the already heralded 2009 recruiting class. Blose, Hiler and Petznick will enroll at BC in September of 2009, joining previously committed Eagle recruits Kristen Mewis, Victoria DiMartino and Maddie Payne.
Alicia M. Blose - Mill Valley, Calif. - Tamalpais High School - 5-foot-6 - Defensive Midfielder
Played for Tamalpais High which finished ranked No. 13 in the nation with a 20-1-2 record ... Earned the team MVP and Marin Independent Journal Player of the Year ... A three-time first team Marin County Athletic All-League selection ... Led the team in goals scored three straight years - notched 15 as a junior, and currently has 26 in her senior campaign ... Plays for De Anza Force Under-18 Club ... Was a member of the 2008 Cal-North Under-17 State team ... A member of the Regional IV ODP program from 2004-through-2008.
Morgan Hiler - South Bend, IN - St. Joseph's High School - 5-foot-11 - Defense/Midfield
Played four years at St. Joseph's High School in South Bend, IN ... Can play both defense and midfield ... Is the younger sister of former BC midfielder and 2008 graduate Caitlin Hiler ... A two-time All-Conference and a 2008 All-District first team selection ... All-State third-team member and named to the All-State Academic team ... Also ran track and was a regional qualifier in the 800 and 4x800 relay ... A four-year honors student who is also a National Merit Commended Scholar.
Jessica Petznick - Phoenix, Ariz. - Xavier College Preparatory - 5-foot-8 - Defender
Named Gatorade Player of the Year in Arizona for the 2008-09 season ... Named a 2009 first team ESPN RISE Winter All-American ... Played four years of varsity soccer at Xavier College Prep and advanced to the State semifinals in 2007 and 2008 ...Helped her team capture the state championship in 2009 ... Won the Horizon Tournament in 2007-08 and 2008-09 ... Earned first-team All-Region three consecutive seasons ... Named first team AZ Republic All-State... Was named ESPN Rise Magazine "Best Defender In The State" ... Excalibur Tournament All-Tournament first team ... Team captain as a junior and senior ... Played for Sereno White Team from 2000-06 and earned four state titles ... Played for Southbank Ladybugs in 2008 and earned the State Championship and Far West Regional ... A first honors student and a member of the National Honor Society.
