Women's Soccer Crushes Fairfield

Chestnut Hill, MA - The Boston College women's soccer team defeated Fairfield, 3-0, in a Spring scrimmage on Saturday, March 28. Sophomore forward Brooke Knowlton, sophomore defender Hannah Cerrone and freshman forward Stephanie Wirth each scored in the win.

The Eagles held the Stags to no shots on goal. The BC goalkeepers - Jillian Mastroianni and Mae Shamir - split the keeper duties in the scrimmage.

Boston College will now travel down the road to Boston University to play in the Beanpot on Saturday, April 4. BC will open up the Spring tournament at 1:30 p.m. in a battle vs. the host Terriers. The Eagles will then play Northeastern at 3:30 p.m. followed by the final match against UMass at 6:30 p.m.
