Men's Track Finishes Competition at IC4A Championships

BOSTON, Mass. - The Boston College men's track and field team completed its competition at the 2009 IC4A Track & Field Championships on Sunday at the BU Track and Tennis Center.
Sophomore Ian Thomas finished fifth in the 1000m finals with a time of 2:27.11 which was less than two seconds off the leader.
The Eagles' distance medley relay team of seniors James LaGreca and Timothy Ritchie and sophomores Tyler Archer and Andrew MacIsaac placed eighth in the finals with a mark of 10:08.33.
Albany won the IC4A team title with a total 72.50 points. Connecticut finished second with 63.50 while Delaware took third with 48 points. Manhattan College and Hampton placed fourth and fifth, respectively.
