Field Hockey Announces Captains For 2009 Season

Chestnut Hill, MA - The Boston College women's field hockey team has announced their captains for the 2009 fall season. Senior Chelsey Feole and junior Emily Kozniuk will lead the team in their fifth season in the ACC.
Feole, a forward from Windham, New Hampshire was captain of the 2008 team along with graduate student Julia Berkowitz.
In her junior campaign, Feole started all 19 games and register 38 points (16g, 6a) including 4 points (1g, 2a) in BC's ACC Tournament loss to Wake Forest. She has been the Eagles second leading scorer in each of her three seasons at the Heights.
Kozniuk, a defenseman from Vancouver, British Columbia, started all 19 games for the Eagles and was the team's third leading scorer with 13 points (3g, 7a). She went 3-3 in penalty shots lead the team in assits with seven.
"I am thrilled to have both Emily and Chels representing the program," said Head Coach Ainslee Lamb. "They are both extremely competitive players that I know will lead this team with unconditional desire and will to win."
