Men's Fencing Competes at Eric Sollee Invitational at MIT

On February 1st, the men's fencing team competed at the Eric Sollee Invitational at MIT. They were swept by Duke, Haverford, Penn, and NYU and lost a closer match to Princeton, but beat Yeshiva in a convincing win. The team lost to Duke, Haverford, Penn, and NYU, all by scores of 20-7. However, the sabre was a bright spot in the meet against Princeton, as they won 6-3. Also, BC's epee hung around in a close match but came up just short, losing 5-4. But Princeton took the win overall, with a 16-11 team score. BC's best meet of the day was against Yeshiva, where the team combined for a powerful 24-3 win. BC's epee won 7-2, sabre won 8-1, and foil went undefeated at 9-0.
