Women's Tennis Drops 6-1 Decision to Illinois

Chestnut Hill, MA - The Boston College women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to the University of Illinois on Sunday.
Sophomore Katharine Attwell playing in the No. 5 singles position was the only member of the team to win her match against the Illini on Sunday. Attwell defeated Kristina Minor in straight sets 6-3, 6-4 to register the Eagles only point of the match.
Senior Lana Krasnopolsky playing in the No. 1 singles position took Leigh Finnegan to a three set tie breaker before losing the match point.
The Eagles begin their ACC schedule on Friday, February 27 against Virginia Tech.
