Women's Fencing Competes at Brandeis Invitational

At the Brandeis Invitational, the women's team took home a win over UNC, but dropped the other four matches to St. John's, Brown, Yale, and Cornell. The team defeated UNC by the score of 16-11, but fell to Cornell by one point in a very close match, as the final score was 14-13. The team also suffered defeat at the hands of St. John's, Brown and Yale by the scores of 21-6, 17-10, and 19-9.
Junior Ali Letendre posted the best individual record for the day, going 8-7 in epee.
Fencing returns to action after the Christmas Break, hosting a Northeast Fencing Conference meet on January 23rd.
