Women's Lacrosse Releases 2010 Schedule

CHESNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's lacrosse team unveiled its schedule for the 2010 season according to an announcement made by Head Coach Bowen Holden.

The team will get its season underway on Saturday, February 20 in Smithfield, R.I. where the Eagles will take on Bryant at 1:00 p.m. The team's home schedule will commence on Friday, February 26, as it hosts Canisius at 3:00 p.m.

The Eagles will enter ACC competition on Saturday, March 13, when they will take on Virginia Tech at 1:00 p.m. and host North Carolina on Saturday, March 27 at 12:00 p.m.

Other notable matchups include road contests with Maryland, Virginia, Duke and Boston University. The Eagles will also fly to Jacksonville, Fla. to take on Jacksonville on Tuesday, March 2 at 4:00 p.m.

The ACC championship is currently scheduled to be played on April 22 in College Park, Md.
